Pacific Pensionne

My partner and I stayed here last week for 2 nights. It's about 20 minutes walk from the southern bus terminal, which is good. It is notbfar from Ayala Mall, which is also good. The rooms are OK, if a little dated and tired. It reminds me of the old Diplomat Hotel that I used to stay in years ago. I would stay here again and the breakfast is reasonable too (see photos). The location is good. Walking distance to fuente n many restaurants around. Its a pension house. It's old, good for short stay. They provide free plated breakfast but only 1 choice available, which is 1 hotdog, 1 hardboiled egg, 1 scoop of rice n 3in1 coffee. Free wifi in lobby, aircon is cold, hot in cold shower, limited channel TV, free toiletries, they clean the room everyday. But no free drinking water. Staff were courteous. It's cheaper if u booked online.

Via Agoda I was promised to pay 1.727 pesos for a double room for two nights including a refrigiator in the room. But upon arrival I was told a fridge would cost me extra 200 pesos. I flatly refused and after a long argument the receptionist who were quite rude offered I could keep my medicin in the hotels fridge. I complied but right after I was harrased by an older woman who had her own ideas about that. Now I checked how much money had been subtracted from my bank account just to realize it was 2.800 pesos plus. The receptionist didn't care at all and refused to deal with it. They cheated me moe than 1.100 pesos Checking the room I am really not sure I have gotten a double room. It's small, the bed id quite small too, and the room was dirty when I opened the door. Breakfast was so bad. A cold egg, one piece of very bad ham, rice and a cop of coffee. On the second morning (tomorrow) I won't even bother. Stay away
