City Suites Ramos Tower

I normally travel to Cebu 2 or 3 times a year and my first time to book a condo studio in the city. I use to live in Cebu for more than 10 years so I know where to go. Brilliant location, few minutes walk to Fuente Osmeña circle and Mango Avenue where a lot of things are happening day and night. The studio is really clean and the common areas are well maintained. The studio has the mountain (Banawa view) and the sea view as well. It’s compact but it can well accommodate 3 people at most. WiFi is provided with reasonable speed, not as fast as we normally get in Europe but that’s the norm in the Philippines. I love the mini kitchenette but never had the chance to use it because in Cebu you have a lot of restaurants to go 24/7 and they are all affordable. What a Lovely host, Andreas and I had a conversation about Cebu and travel experiences. He was on time when we set the pre arranged check-out time. I would stay here again if the studio is available on my return.

The apartment was nice but toilet lid broken ,tank is loose ,and water leaks On top of that I was told that it had hot water and one look at the hot water machine and I knew it didn’t work Bed was hard as nails and the universal remote for TV was not programmed so we could not turn on the television. Sofa was harder than the bed. My goodness I didn’t know sodas came that hard. And the place needs fumagated. I was bit several places by tiny insects Plus side I smoked on balcony with permission It had a coffee pot And a laundry service downstairs tgat did excellent work. Also on the plus side it had a fairly new LG washer so we washed and took downstairs to dry Overall opinion It was ok but we left to go to a different condo after 3 days I would not recommend it

Hard to give an adequate review without resorting to profanity. Even the "condo" units in this place are a dump. Bugs. Ants, gnats, flies, some other thing. "Barely hot" water. Unclean windows. Don't even bother to replace the elevator stickers/signs. There are people wondering around shirtless changing floors with bags of clothes in hand. Smelly bellhops roaming around. Avoid at all cost. 2 stars for the decent laundromat and door service downstairs.
