The A. Venue Hotel

My wife and I stayed for a week at the A Venue Hotel on an RCI exchange. Ms Hazel was at the Hotel to meet us and ushered us to our Room #505. The apartment comprised an adequate size bedroom with an en suite bathroom. But the lounge was small with a sofa set and a dining table for four. The air conditioning was good and the kitchen area was of an adequate size. However, when checking further we found that there were only 2 dinner plates, 1 table-spoon and two cups. The kitchen knife was blunt.There was no dish cloth. The two table lamps in the lounge could not be switched on. The TV in the lounge was working, but the one in the bedroom could not receive any signal. A more serious problem was in the bathroom. It appeared that the bathroom was recently renovated, but no rectification was done to address the low water pressure problem. The nice looking rain shower was not receiving a good water flow. We also noticed that the toilet bowl had numerous hairline cracks. However, there were a number of grab bars fixed at vantage locations which were very useful for 80 year old senior citizens like me. For the attention of RCI, this apartment was meant for two occupants, no pull out sofa bed for a third person. So the RCI literature that says “Sleeps: 3 maximum occupancy/2 private” should be amended. Bottom line is this apartment, although recently renovated, did not meet my expectation of an RCI facility. A check must immediately be made to ensure the fittings are in working order and the kitchen cutlery and plates are adequate. Otherwise this apartment is one that RCI can be proud of.

Gusto ko sya because they have an indoor pool for my kids. We spent the 5th birthday of my daughter there so the family and relatives can drop by and enjoy the pool semi indoor pool. The place has easy access to all your needs, with malls and restos surrounding the area. You have no trouble walking. There is parking and good wifi. No issues, quite a happy camper. Value for money yes! Will definitely be on my list for a repeat staycation if this pandemic allows it. Thank you!

Pool attendant is rude. They treat us not as guest. Need to dry up first before they allow you to go to your room. They will escorted you to make sure you use the service elevator which is not functioning properly. They will not allow you to use the common elevator for the guest when you came from pool. The bath tub drainer is defective, the maintenance guy need to use toilet suction (black rubber with wooden handle normally use for toilet bowl) to lift up the drain outlet. Security guard always asking your room no. when you came from outside which is unusual for hotel. Very annoying we feel where not a hotel guest but completely strangers.
