Atmosphere Resort

Having stayed at quite a few high-end resorts, I can honestly say that The Atmosphere exceeded our expectations. It is one of those rare places that is actually much more impressive in person than it looks online. From the moment we arrived, everything felt exceptionally well organised. The staff are extremely well trained, professional, attentive and genuinely warm and friendly. Service is polished without ever feeling stiff or impersonal — exactly what you want from a high-end resort. Our room was absolutely spotless and beautifully designed. The architecture and interiors are simple, understated and stylish, with a very thoughtful attention to detail. The outdoor bathroom is particularly impressive — enormous, beautifully integrated into the design and very practical. I had read some older reviews mentioning rainwater entering the room, but this was absolutely not our experience. Even with rain, everything was perfectly designed and protected. The entire property is immaculately maintained. The gardens are lush and beautifully landscaped, with an incredible variety of plants, flowers and greenery everywhere. It feels peaceful, private and wonderfully cared for. There are also plenty of pools, including a separate children's area with dedicated pools, so families have their own space without disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of the main resort. The overall feeling is one of genuine relaxation. It is quiet, elegant and never feels overcrowded — a perfect place to slow down and disconnect. The food is good overall. Breakfast was perfectly pleasant, although for a resort of this calibre, I would personally have expected a slightly more generous and elevated breakfast selection. The pool snacks were very good, though, and the daily 5–6 pm happy hour is an excellent deal. We also really liked the small boutique shop, particularly because some of the products and souvenirs support local children. It is a lovely initiative and adds something meaningful to the resort experience. The diving centre deserves special mention. It is extremely professional, well organised and staffed by people who clearly know what they are doing. The level of service there matches the standard of the resort itself. The beach area directly in front of the resort is beautifully maintained, with swings, sun loungers and immaculate surroundings. One thing to be aware of is that this is not a Boracay-style sandy beach. The entrance into the sea is rocky, so we personally didn't swim in the sea and enjoyed the pools instead. The beach is nevertheless beautiful and very peaceful, and the setting is gorgeous. We also appreciated all the thoughtful little touches throughout our stay — welcome gifts, small surprises and delicious artisan chocolates. These details may seem small, but they make a big difference and show how much attention the resort pays to the guest experience. What impressed us most was the consistency. From the rooms and gardens to the pools, restaurants, diving centre and service, everything is exceptionally clean, well maintained and professionally run. The Atmosphere really feels like a small private paradise. If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful and stylish resort rather than a huge, busy luxury property, this is an excellent choice. Without a doubt, one of the best resorts we have experienced in the Philippines — and somewhere we would happily return to.

Super delicious food, the service was excellent, and the diving was relaxed. Everything was excellent and we can recommend the resort with a clear conscience.

Went to Atmosphere with 12 friends. All of us l.o.v.e.d. it! It was super relaxing, with a very professional, helpful dive center, enjoyable food options. While snorkeling right off the black sand / rock beach, some of us met up with turtles several times. Dive trip to Apo Island A highlight are the people - super friendly and helpful throughout all interactions, from booking (and changing bookings), to reception, dining & bar, dive center, spa. We would love to come back!
