Wellbeach Dive Resort

An absolute gem for a peaceful diving holiday!We first stayed at Wellbeach Dive Resort back in 2013. After all these years, we decided to come back and have now visited two more times recently. I can confidently say that the resort has gotten even better over the years! It still offers unbeatable value for money for anyone looking for top-notch diving, attentive service, and a quiet atmosphere away from the crowds. What we loved: ⚠️ Rooms & Cleanliness: Very cozy, comfortable, and spotless. Housekeeping does a great job, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. ⚠️ Service: Extremely welcoming and attentive. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. ⚠️ Diving: Absolutely excellent! The logistics and organization are seamless, and the boat crew is highly professional. The marine life variety is fantastic. ⚠️ Food: The meals are delicious, and the portion sizes are very generous. A few minor things that could be improved: food preparation in the restaurant can be quite slow, there are no shops nearby, the toilets lack a bidet spray, and only sheets are provided instead of blankets. Overall, for budget-conscious divers looking for the perfect balance of comfort, great service, and quality diving, Wellbeach is a top choice. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our two-week stay so wonderful and memorable! We will definitely be back again.❤️

We loved this place so much that we stayed another week. The price was right, the service and food was excellent. The staff are very friendly and the airport transfer was the best. In spite of our plane delays Victor was patiently waiting for us with a nice clean van. The diving is everything and more! The boats are big, crew is 2:1 and helpful. After the dives they have hot coffee and snack waiting for you after they administer a fresh water shower! They do everything for you except dive the dive! Easy giant stride entry and removal of bcd, weights and tank before climbing the ladder back in. Their ladder system is fantastic and far surpasses all the other in the region that we have been diving with. The ladder is longer and there are more rungs to climb up on than cheesy little step ladders. Easiest diving ever. The dive master Coy was fantastic at taking us to all the different dives sites, showing us the macro and muck diving areas and was very knowledgeable about all the species and animal behaviors. This is a great place for older divers needing assistance with gear. They even carried the gear out for us when we did a beautiful house reef dive. Absolutely we will return with more guests!

3 weeks spent in the resort for diving. Alone for a week because off-peak period until early September, it is a good time to enjoy. Although it was a lean time, all services were available, a kindness of staff who always found a solution. 3 weeks of dives almost alone, the boat crew and especially our guide at the top. The restaurant, a full and varied menu and especially decent prices, plates full. Far from the surrounding villages, plan to take transport, avoid "tricycles", prices are x 10 for tourists, use yellow buses or "jeepney", fixed price without surprises. No troublesome rain during our 3 week stay in June.
