Lan-Sei Water Resort

AC/Shower/basic Kitchen/Fridge. Stayed for two weeks on a dive trip. Felt I got great value, and a comfortable sleep. LOTS of room to rinse and dry dive gear. Great owner. No restaurant on property but two or three excellent choices within a stone's throw.

We stayed here last week (offpeak room for 2, 1500php) and this was our third time booking this hotel. This is our default choice even if it isn't a beach front, the shuttle is prompt and always ready when we request for a ride to the beach. Most people would like a beach front hotel but for Puerto Galera I prefer being away from the crowd and with the shuttle the beach is less than a 5 minutes away anyway. The room we stayed in is a bit small but enough for two people, and the small TV is outdated. The CR is okay enough, clean enough, didn't really check or ask for hot water but it wasn't ice cold so I don't mind it. My favorite part of staying here and the reason we come back is the garden with the nipa huts. We usually have the place to ourselves and the fresh air is relaxing. There is a videoke free for use. Food is also okay. Service was good.

The coordinator was very helpful as we traveled on a very peak season but still managed to accommodate us. The location was okay though its not a beach front BUT they offered shuttle service so you can reach the beach front without any hassle. The food, the service and the staff are all good. The jacuzzi and pool was okay. The rooms are clean but no hot water in the CR. Over all, you have to see it for yourself. :)
