El Cielo Mansion

This is a simple bed & breakfast 5 minutes away from the beach! If you'll be spending much time in the waters and not in the city, then this is a simple and affordable place to stay. The room we had has 2 single beds, separate toilet and bath with hot water, a TV, air conditioning, and a backdoor (to hang wet clothes!). They also provide soaps, toilet paper and towels. PROS of the room included clean sheets, comfortable firm bed, flat screen TV, and very cold aircon (perfect for the super hot summers). CONS include no thick blanket (just the white thin sheet), only 1 pillow (but very fluffy) no hooks in the bathroom to hang your towel and clothes. I had a hard time taking a shower because I can't hang anything inside so I just leave my towel and clothes on the sink just outside the bathroom, and I can't even hang my toiletry kit (wc has a hook and should be hanged inside the bathroom!). The hotel itself feels very peaceful and relaxing, with free wifi, and you can have breakfast comfortably because of the breeze within the area. We didn't have a choice for breakfast as they just let you know what's for breakfast for the next day (tosilog, tapsilog then fishsilog on our 3 day stay) and that's it. but we saw a foreigner having a sandwich so I guess you can request if the food available is not your preference. They also gave me orange juice since I don't drink coffee. Our purpose for this trip was to learn open water diving, so location was perfect for us since it is very near where our training is done. If you want to go to the city, it is a longer tricycle ride so better know what are your plans to know if the location of the hotel is good for you. Last but not the least, their staff is very friendly, all smiles and very accommodating to our needs. That's actually what makes you want to go back to a hotel - GOOD SERVICE!

El Cielo Mansion lives up to its name that means heaven in English. It has a nice location, accessible to the airport but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. We loved how relaxing the ambiance was which made it a perfect getaway for us who were newlyweds. Rates are friendly with a generous amount of breakfast! :) Yay!!! The Staff are very friendly and helpful especially Ms. Jen and Lucelle who assisted us on our transfer arrangements from arrival to our El Nido trip and until our transfers back home. Kudos to the management! El Cielo mansion literally is heaven on earth! :)

not a 20 story hotel, but a simple, spacious & clean bed & breakfast! when you come in the place has an open, fresh looking courtyard in the center. one story & 12 rooms (i think). each room has ac, clean sheets & two other rooms for toilet & shower (w hot water) for each bedroom. has a half wall divider from bed to toilet/shower, which i appreciated. in addition to room window, bathroom & shower have windows as well. free wifi! friendly staff & 24hr security. can also inquire for massage for 500P an hr. daily breakfast was good & made fresh! ive never done a review, but i would highly recommend this place if youre looking for an affordable, clean, accesible & friendly place to stay!
