When I arrived, I received a very lovely welcome that moved me. I stayed for 3 days in a beautiful cabin by the sea, surrounded by greenery and mangroves. I want to highlight the incredible kindness of the hotel staff, which makes the stay so enjoyable, particularly the attention from Micaela, Olivia, and Eric. If you enjoy snorkeling, next to the dock there is a reef with a lot of beautiful species of different fish (I had read the reviews and booked this place for that reason). Many thanks to all the people who work there who made my days unforgettable.

If you want a peacefull and relaxing holiday the El Rio Y Mar Resort offers all that and more The cabins are very well serviced, basic but comfortable but you can forget TV as the cabins are not equipped with TV... well you wanted peace and quiet didn't you? The resort is in a secluded bay no cars and can only be accessed by boat. We spent 4 days there and should have booked for longer. The only downside was the food was not as good as we expected some being cold and vegetables undercooked but we could live with that. The staff were super friendly and accomodating and the boatride there was an enjoyable trip in itself. We would most definitely stay at El Rio Y Mar Resort again.
