Our group of four stayed in two rooms for two nights and experienced a number of issues:
- the rooms are not well soundproofed and we had to endure loud street noise throughout the night
- maintenance is horrendously lacking
- our room had a window that didn't close properly
- toilet wouldn't flush!
- refrigerator didn't cool
- bed was not as clean as we'd like and was too soft (worn out mattresses?)
- sub-par breakfast
- dangerous step coming off the lift and into the lobby (I tripped every time I came out of the elevator)
- weird location of the small pool, right in the lobby, near the reception desk
On the more positive side, the staff were friendly and the TV provided good selections.
Overall, this place can perhaps due in a pinch, but is not worth the price they charge and definitely not up to Best Western standards. If anyone from Best Western does an on-site audit, I'm sure they will lose the brand name.
