Century Hotel Angeles City

i stayed here for 4 consecutive nights with the rest of my staff to hold an office event. overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay. although their menu are limited to chicken, fish & pork dishes (beef is not in the selection), the meals served from breakfast to dinner are delectable and served in manageable portions. too bad bacon never appeared during breakfast. only a single keycard is given to the rest of us who stays three in a room. that meant pulling it out from the holder which automatically turns off the electricity. it takes time before the room reaches the right coldness. there's a tub in my bathroom which also serves as the shower area. i need to be extra careful when manoeuvring myself while showering to avoid slipping. and oh, don't bother requesting for cotton buds. vanity kits are not available. the thing is, we really appreciated the warmth of the staff. they're so attentive and courteous that we pooled quite a hefty amount to tip them. thank you, century hotel!

The rooms are clean and spacious, with good air conditioning and a fast internet connection. My main criticism is the hot water (or lack of) in the bathroom. Each room comes with two complimentary breakfasts, which you order the night before and will be served to you in your room the next morning. If you are traveling alone, make sure to tell the staff when ordering that you only want one breakfast, unless you really want to eat a double breakfast. Another option would be to bring a container and take out the breakfast. Also, bring your own drinks and snacks to store in the bar refrigerator in the room. This saves you a trip to the grocery or convenience store.

Quite impressed with the excellent, friendly service of staff. Allan was very accommodating. 3 rooms booked a month prior with request for at least 2 rooms be side by side or as close together as possible and they accommodated it. He also made sure the party who arrived much earlier than expected were allowed early check-in, a welcome gesture after a long drive. Rooms were very clean, modern touches. Bed very comfortable. Room had a/c, cable tv, insta-pot for hot water, coffee, tea and bottled water. Not much of view from our room. Breakfast buffet was included in the reasonable rate. Choices were ample, western and local fare---I always opt for the local fare. There was a pool but didn't have time to use. They are right by a casino, but not inside the casino---which I appreciated. Parking ample, safe and secure. They only provide one card key per room, though. This limits movement of parties.
