The hotel is well located in the center of the city. Efficient staff, quick checkin and checkout, Underground parking. Modern and well maintained premises. Large rooms, but ours had no refrigerator and bath-tub instead of shower that we prefer. The double bed was too narrow, probably at the minimum width limit and quite uncomfortable for two persons. Good breakfast, although the breakfast space is also quite small, so it was crowded.

You cant fault the location of this hotel. Only a short walk to the old town and main strip of bars and restaurants. The reception area and breakfast room / bar are very nicely decorated. Which sadly then ends as you get to the stair well and rooms. The stairwell wouldnt look out of place in an office block. The rooms sadly lack any charm at all. Some mismatched old worn furniture chucked in a room, just felt old and unloved. The kettle has been put next to a wardrobe and the steam has stained the wood. Theres plenty of space on the desk for the kettle. Insufficient plugs in the room, all far to far away from the bed. No light switch or easily accessible lamp switch by the bed either The bed was ok. But the two pillows were like teabags. Surely a pair of pillows a person isnt too much trouble. The room was quiet though. The bathroom had again a pointless piece of furniture in there to hold the spare toilet roll. The shower is an over the bath thing. Which i have no issue with, except the riser didnt work, so had to have a one handed shower, which was doable. The absolute vile shower curtain though is unacceptable. There is no place in this modern day for a shower curtain and especially not a mouldy one. It could easily be replaced with a screen. The toilet seat was also the wrong shape and size for the pan. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and all very fresh and filling. The staff all very polite and friendly. Location very good like i say, just the quality of the bedroom and bathroom let down experience
