Stayed in this hotel in May 2013. Without a doubt, the worst hotel experience of my life. When I saw the photos provided "by management", I burst out laughing because the hotel does not look like it at all. The photos provided by travellers are accurate. It should be illegal for establishments like this to have the word 'hotel' in the name - it is not even a hostel, but a one-star student accomodation at most. DO NOT STAY THERE.

I was in this "hotel" in february '12. I booked three nights there, but I spent only one. Then I checked out and changed hotel, because it was impossible to stay there - My room was small, ugly and dirty. The window was leaky and It was really cold inside.
The only advantage is a quite good location.
I will never come back there.

Stayed here one night as part of a stag weekend, and was asked to leave! First and foremost with any Krakow budget establishment with the status of hostel (and there must be hundreds) you will probably face a dark and dingy entrance and staircase, with classic aged and dated decor. While the standard of the upkeep of these places tends to be low, you should be given a clean room that is sufficient for the basic requirements. If you are a couple or family looking for a weekend break or holiday you are best to aim higher and pay more. These places are ideal for students, stags / hens, and anyone travelling on a tight budget.
Emotions is no different. The manager of Emotions isn't often in the reception, so you may be lucky to catch him in when you want to check in. Don't be fooled by the photos, this isn't a quality establishment and the room decor may be more to the taste of Austin Powers and Llewellyn Bowen.
Our group debated the early departure, and came to the conclusion that the manager did not really want us there. We were not noisy or disruptive, but one of our group lost his keys and had to call on the manager late in the night to get into his room. The next thing we know is the manager giving us an hour to leave with a fabricated story of complaints of noise into the early hours. There may be two sides to every story, but we all feel strongly that this character had a hidden agenda and we were not your usual 'Brits abroad' crowd.
So to round up our experience - yes, it is clean and functional, but don't trust the manager and to be honest there are many more hostels that are better run and provide a better stay. We did find rooms in the Tara Hostel nearby which was far better.
