Florian Apartments

Firstly let me start by saying the apartments are in a great location, there big & spacious, clean inside but that's where the positives stop for me. The safety/security of these apartments is absolutely appalling, you can see that by reading other reviews on here with I had read up before I left. The door codes for each room are the biggest problem

Went through chillisauce on a stag party. When we got there they gave us a piece of paper with key codes to get in to the apartments. When out at a pub 10 doors along from the apartments some guy gave us a bottle of JD thought it was sus and when we got to the room later that night all our left over money in our bags had gone. We believe that the people from the pub stole that piece of paper and then stole everything. When we told the apartments reception they said "oh yea that happens all the time" they didn't seem to care and found it an inconvenience that we wanted our codes changed. No way to prove it but I have no doubt that they either knew or don't care that this happens or are in on this. If you go here take a picture of the key code and burn the bit of paper as I wouldn't trust them at all!

We booked four rooms for our group here and it was an absolute shambles. Firstly the man giving us our key shouted at us aggressively the instructions to the place. We were taken to our rooms, which were up four flights of unlit stairs with no lifts. The light switches were energy conserving which is fair enough but they were placed in ridiculous positions that were impossible to find. There were no keys, just codes, and each room needed FOUR DIFFERENT CODES to get in. This is fine if you are doing this in the day time and completely sober but in the pitch dark after a few beers it was a nightmare. For 18 people only 1 code sheet per room was given. So many people ended up having to stay in the wrong place and sometimes on the floor as phones ran out of battery. The reason that phones ran out of battery was the quality of electrics. This was a real worry, as we had no lights and one power socket that worked. The lights would flicker every time the bathroom tap was switched on. The rooms were large but most beds were sofas and the place was dirty. Like the you can never get it clean type of dirty. Staff were unhelpful and the wifi was non existent. All in all, a dreadful experience.
