Hotel Pod Orlem

My sister and I went to visit Bydgoszcz this April. We booked trough a booking site. This Hotel did not honor our booking. We had a booked a large room with two larger beds and breakfast included. The lady at the front desk said they would not honor the breakfast because the booking provider did not send this information to the hotel, but we could pay for breakfast (why would be pay for breakfast twice?) Then she saw that we were only booked for one! bed. In order to minimize the damage she gave us a small room with at least two single beds. To say the least, for what we got the hotel was majorly overpriced. We did not eat in the restaurant that is in the hotel. At least the hotel was clean and at a very good location. We would go to a different hotel next time.

Travelled here with friends in a chilly January. The hotel is in a very good location and easy stroll to the old town and river. The interior public spaces were very striking and the exterior has a lotto see too. Worth reading up on the varied history. Rooms are less fancy but were comfortable and had what we needed. Staff were helpful. It was easy to get to and from via public transport from the airport.

Beautiful exterior and excellent customer service. The food was also good. This is really (was) generally beautiful building. Degraded and very old-fashioned rooms (late 80s, early 90s). Bad towels very poor quality. Layers and doors also
