HOTEL POLESKI

I give a star because it is not possible to give less. We booked a double but in reality they are two single beds attached, the very fine and uncomfortable mattresses that come off continuously, even one of the two was in turn divided into two other mattresses (one above and one below, so we were forced to undergo the separation space at the sides and also in the center). We continue with the bulb attached to the bed that constantly made annoying noise if turned off, in fact we had to sleep with the same on every night. Curtains are useless, they are clear and fine, so as soon as the day comes the light enters the room. Finally, we were delighted for almost the entire duration of the stay (except the first night) by a gentle background of jackhammer (from 6 am until evening) that they were using to do work on the bridge (about 1km) but the windows are so useless that it seemed to have the workers in our balcony. When I called reception to see if there was a solution, I never received an answer. Anticipated receptionists, during check-out did not even bother to ask us how the stay had gone, never seen so much disinterest. Convenient location and breakfast ok, otherwise I will never return

Very clean , views of Walwel Castle are unmatched.All staff very very pleasant and helpful.Location is across the river from the main tourist area with ten minutes easy walks into the city over bridge.Enjoyed the walk along the banks either way . Very quiet room ,good big enough to accommodate a wheelchair as one of the party had a broken foot. The bathroom was clean and modern with a good shower. Breakfast was pleasant in the restaurant with that wonderful view of the castle.No other meals available but food was relatively affordable and good in the city. The staff spoke English fluently and where helpful when arranging a trip .Free map available at the desk.

For the price we paid the hotel was clean and comfortable..the staff were very friendly and helpful.. food was hot and a varied selection.the hotel is not the best but it is a nice hotel .. stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. 5 minutes walk in any direction from hotel will bring you to all amenities in krakow
