Nice place to stay at square, but not lift. Prefer to stay on 2nd floor. There are no rooms on gr and 1st floors. No elevator. Rooms are preety big and nice. Enjoyable stay as long as you operate from a cabin bag. Owners are extremely nice and great hospitality. I will stay here again when come to Krakow again. Good breakfast with home made bread. Pleasenet atmosphere. Rooms are quite large compared to any hotels in Europe.

We came in a big double door and took the stairs up one floor to the office/reception area. A man said welcome and gave us the keys to room 22 so we went up the stairs to the 2floor - the building is old and have no elevator(not suitable for wheelchairs or if stairs in general are a problem for you - but good exercise for everyone else :-P ).
The room was BIG and open(4-5 meters below the ceiling), creaking floor(but it had its charm), the room was simple enough, double doors to the small balcony, the bed could use some new and better mattresses but we were there for only 4 days so it was okey. The room was so big that they could easily have had room for a small kitchen space.
The bathroom was also big an had tiles on the walls and floor.
in my understanding it would be daily cleaning - here we probably have slightly different opinions about what that means. In this case it meant emptying the trash - I complained on day 2 and then got the trash emptied, new bedding and clean towels (I certainly don't use the same towels for 4 days)
The breakfast was down in the basement and was served by a very nice young woman. It was a plain breakfast, but it was all we needed to start the day :-D
One minute to the main square and short way to everything else. All in all, I would probably have stayed here on my next visit to - good value for the money we paid.
PS! There is a church on the next block to your right - check it out......its BEAUTIFUL <3

We stayed here for a Christmas Market trip to Krakow.
The location was easy to find, we got the keys from the next door restaurant as we arrived after office hours.
Our room was at the top of the building on the third floor. A very large room, it was warm if not very cosy. The bed was comfortable for me. It was like a large dormitory room, very sparse but adequate. The shower and toilet was fairly small for such a large room. There were no complimentary toiletries, and the bathroom cabinet was slightly damaged and a little mucky. In saying that the towels were wonderfully fresh and a towel rail kept them warm and dry each day.
Breakfast was in basement with a lovely lady who served us. Tea and coffee, fresh juice, meat and cheese with bread, side salad, freshly boiled eggs and a choice of yoghurt. A basic but nice breakfast.
Would I stay here again? - yes although it lacked the facilities of a standard hotel it was totally find for a weekend away.
