Ventus Rosa

We stayed in this apartment, area was nice and quiet. A blind in bedroom would be better than the thin curtain. No air conditioning but the apartment was cool. we was out back so trees shaded apartment. lovely big bathroom. functional kitchen. The furniture is old styled but that adds character. Good exercise going up the stairs to apartment we was on level 2. We would stay here again.

We tried to use Alfred, their self check in portal, managed to enter our details and it would not allow us to proceed further. I contacted them through email asking would I be able to complete at 3pm (check in time) to be told 'we have your details, so no problem'. Again I received an Alfred email asking me to complete the day before we flew, same problem, asked hotel via email will they send the key codes at 3pm for check in, got nothing back. Up at 3am to travel, landed about midday, found a cafe to wait till 3pm, tried to complete check in, still didn't work. Had to ring them to obtain the key safe code. Shower head connector was broken, reported straight away, told it would be fixed, it never was. Toilet seat broken so wobbled. Check out was 11am, asked about storage for luggage as night flying, to be told we can leave it at the main hotel, which is over a mile away. We ended up paying for storage in town as didn't want to waste any time on our last day as pick up was from our apartment. Beautiful corner corner bath, but it could do with a hand rail to help with stepping in as its very high and I have joint problem so was quite difficult for me, and I can't be the only one. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfy, the location was perfect as short walk to main town. There is no lift and it has 3 floors. It is situated in a stunning old building, so a lift would not be possible. But I would not stay again.
