Sofitel Wroclaw Old Town

This hotel is very well located. Very comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Some have mentioned noise. I think you need to request if this bothers you, if you can, any room that doesn't face the main street. However if you are a night owl, I don't think it will phase you. Service was polite..a good stay. Recommended.

The rooms and the public areas are very good. Now for the bad. If you have a room facing the street you may as well be in a very noisy nightclub. The noise carried on well into the early hours of morning. Unless you can be guaranteed an atrium inner facing room I would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you can sleep through a constant racket all night. Ear plugs are supplied by the hotel which say a lot - they were not enough to prevent me being awake all night.

If you enjoy listening to tone-deaf individuals screaming karaoke at the top of their lungs with music blasting through loudspeakers at 3:00 a.m., on a Wednesday, then this is the hotel for you. Unfortunately, whatever positive qualities this hotel may have are completely overshadowed by the excessive late-night noise. Despite local noise ordinance laws in Wrocław (which I confirmed do exist), the hotel either couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything to address the situation. If you’re looking for a place where you can actually get a good night’s sleep, I can’t recommend staying here.
