Duval Serviced Apartments

My husband and I stayed at Duval Apartments for 2 nights in August. The location is fabulous-at the edge of Old Town, within walking distance to many sites. Pros: Very clean, spacious room, everything worked, fabulous location. Correspondence with the hotel was quick and seamless. We were able to check in early after a very long flight from the states. Cons: At the time we were there, Warsaw was hot-in the 90's hot...this apartment is not air conditioned and although the fan that was provided helped some, we found it difficult to sleep. Of course, if we had visited during cooler weather, this would not have been a problem. The mattress was very firm and both my husband and myself found it uncomfortable-although this may be personal preference. Because the windows were open there was quite a bit of noise from pedestrians. However, we travel with a white noise machine and found that it worked well for us. Light sleepers may have a problem. One more note..some reviewers mentioned that breakfast was available. This was not the case when we were there. Also, the amount of service provided is minimal. We were handed a key..

Great apartment, fab location, just off the old town square, but really quiet. Loved the coffee shop and bar on lower levels too. Very friendly staff. Excellent value for money! Highly recommend! Warsaw is a beautiful city, excellent transport and felt really safe.

Great and inexpensive. The place is very clean and it's a good size. There is no AC which can make the outside a little noisy but it's in the perfect. It's also above a place where you can get coffee and beer, and there is ice cream right across the street.
