Hostel Siennicka

Horrible place. Smells horrible, everywhere is dirty especially toilets and beds are the worst condition ever. We had booked 3 nights and left this place after first night (wouldnt even stay that one if not the fact we came at night). Manager of the place did not responde to any of our concerns. I do not recommend to anyone. I travel a lot and this was the worst place I've ever been!!!

The place isn’t the cleanest, would hate to look at it under uv light, but it’s a hostel for £9 a night soooo it’s a very good deal. Allegedly the area isn’t the safest, but there is a lot of building going on currently so looks like it’s changing. Door locked with key, maids have spare. I took all valuables with me. We got our own fridge a cooking area (which we didn’t use, but nice to know) you share a bathroom with 5 other rooms, it needs a bit of a renovate as the shower glass doesn’t cover the whole shower. Was a case of just locking the door. Receptionist, was helpful and was pretty good at English. My pillow was disgusting when I arrived so I asked to swap it and that was fine. Maids only cleaned rooms after people checked out from what I could tell. Your 0.9 miles from the nearest tram ticket machine, so get ready for a walk. Once you have a ticket though there is a bus station around a quarter of a mile away. A dominos, a laundrette, and two supermarkets within 10 minutes walk. Lovely way to visit Warsaw on a budget.

First if all i want to say that the rooms of the hostel is pretty nice. Note that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but that may be ok. However there are many things that is a bit sketchy about the hostel. The first comment we got from our taxi driver to the hotel was that we had to be careful in the area, and that it was a dangerous area. The hostel is located in a industrial area. The receptionist we met did not know any English, so we had some difficulties communicating with him. Outside the hostel sat a lot of people who was drinking a lot and made some noise, and sat there half naked. The room was left with a full trash can from the mast visitors, so the cleaning wasn't that nice. Note that the hostel is located pretty far from any public transport. We were traveling as 3 guys, so we felt safe enough, but if you are traveling as girls or with a family we would defiantly have changed hotel. The rooms are really badly insulated, so we could hear everything going on in every room.
