MERCURE GRAND

Better than I could expect to be Mercure. I recommend the hotel restaurant, all the dishes we tried were delicious. Quiet, well located, possible to walk to the main attractions of the city.

The room itself was incredibly cramped. There was barely enough square footage to put our bags down, and the bed was way too small for two people, so we barely slept. It was clean though. Dinner was a total disaster. The meat we ordered was literally still frozen in the middle—and this happened twice. We gave up and switched to a cheese platter instead, but it looked completely unappetizing and didn't come with any bread. Even though it had spreads. Pictures from other reviews show that this platter was not supposed to look like this. They just threw it together, probably because we complained about the frozen meat they served us earlier. Pick something else, but especially do not eat here.

Hotel close to downtown, the central station, and parks. The room is very large, with a big bed and a sofa. The bedding is comfortable. The shower is really great; however, there is a lack of a place to hang the bath towel...
