Sheraton Sopot Hotel

Very disappointing customer service. I accidentally left my headphones in my hotel room after checking out. My sister, who had a later flight, went to the reception the same afternoon to collect them for me. She was asked to come back an hour later, and when she returned, she was told that Housekeeping could not be reached and that the headphones would instead be sent to me. The disappointing part is that I was later charged 700 SEK for the shipment. Had my sister been allowed to collect the headphones as planned, there would have been no shipping cost at all. At no point were we informed that returning the item by post would result in such a charge. When I contacted the hotel, they refused to reimburse the cost and claimed they could not verify my sister's visit, despite the fact that she was there and spoke to the reception staff. While I appreciate that my headphones were eventually returned, I am very disappointed by how this situation was handled. A hotel should take responsibility for clear communication and customer service, especially when a simple solution was available. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with little confidence in how they treat their guests after check-out.

Nightmare getting here and luggage lost did get It later obviously nothing to do with hotel though that one, so rough day get to hotel and check in nightmare rooms not ready fair enough we were early, so wait till 15:00 our check in time hmm no room not ready so after a terrible day the room was ready for us over an hour late, they did try to sort it with a complementary dinner which we did have to argue about with the restaurant staff, so far really wouldn’t recommend the Sheraton Sopot give it a miss

The hotel is great, so is the location and staff super friendly and helpful. So, why 3 stars? Because they offer RAW GROUND PORK at the breakfast buffet which carries a high risk of bacterial contamination and harmful pathogens and parasites including: - Salmonella - E. Coli - Listeria - Yersinia entorocolitica Just to name a few…and never mind developing a tape worm. Some cuisines in regional Germany or Japan do serve raw pork, but under extremely controlled sourcing and strict handling standards. Even then, public health authorities generally discourage it.
