Economy Silesian Hotel

Rooms were okay. When checking in, the receptionist seemed very annoyed and not polite. Ate at their restaurant, food was okay. I paid for my food. When I got my receipt, I found I was charged in pounds, not local currency. I challenged this straight away, the waitress said it did not give an option. I pointed out on the receipt that I was given an option. But I was clearly not this time.She said she could not do anything about it. I was going to recommend people staying here, but not now.

Upon arrival you will notice significant amount of business people from around the Europe filling this place. This place has plenty of free parking spaces at no extra cost. Free Irons available to hire from reception. Breakfast seems to be priced high 35pln per person. There is McDonalds just outside the hotel and Wild Bean cafe in BP garage next to Mcdonalds. We have had a breakfast in McD for 11 zl two of us. Info for couples. We have booked room for two but were given 2 single beds. Perhaps its worth to inform reception that you want double bed in advance. Overall I would recommend the place due to low price if you expect to have clean cheap place to sleep and have a shower.

The hotel was fine though I have to say that the rooms were fairly small and the carpet in our twin room needed a good industrial cleaner on them. TV's in the room were minute but then as I've said it was only a small room. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice. The hotel is some way from the city centre so it's a taxi or public transport. All the public areas were clean and the staff were very helpful. For the price you pay you can't really complain.
