My stay at this accommodation was horrible. To begin with, when booking, we were informed that they did not accept card payments through Booking.com, forcing us to make a direct bank transfer. Incomprehensible when verifying that the accommodation has physical TPV and therefore can accept cards, indicating an inadequate management from the beginning. Once there, we were handed a key that opened our apartment and also others. In fact, when I returned at night from trying to find sheets for the sofa bed (since none were available in the apartment), my friend mistakenly entered another apartment and there we discovered that the keys also opened other doors. The reception was closed and no one was available to help, which aggravated the situation. The next day we informed the receptionist, who told us to send an email. We did so immediately, attaching videos as evidence, but we never received any response. We found a cockroach on the floor of the apartment, which is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of absolute cleanliness. The sofa bed was broken and could not be used. Also, there were no sheets available to him, so we had to take the sheet from the double bed on the upper floor to improvise a solution. Constant insecurity: We slept uneasy all night, knowing that other people with similar keys could enter the apartment, as we had mistakenly done with someone else’s. All this is unacceptable. This property does not meet minimum standards for safety, cleanliness or customer service. In addition, we have not received any attention or response from the host, despite having sent all the requested documentation.

Great location with a lot of potential, but still a lot to improve!! 1 - Our stay was 3 nights and none of the days were cleaned, we only received new towels because we asked for them at reception, there are no amenities, shampoo, shower gel, we had to buy them because we hadn't taken them on the flight; 2 - On the day of check out, they woke us up before 8:30 am to find out what time we were leaving, when check out was until 11 am; 3 - Shortly afterwards we heard the sound of the door opening and when we checked, it was already the next guest who had been given an early check in, we were all amazed at the situation... 4 - The reception is closed on holidays and weekends, so we only had contact with someone for 1 day throughout our stay!

The lady at reception was very polite and welcoming. You can buy drinks from the reception area/bar which was nice. The villa was spacious and had everything that we needed. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay here for longer if we stayed in Sao Miguel again.
