We had a lovely roomy suite, with mini kitchen and dining area. Everything was immaculately clean, all the linen and towels were good quality. The beds were extremely comfortable. A large balcony looked out onto a little garden. We were on a bed and breakfast basis, unfortunately the breakfast offerings were a little hit and miss as not everything was available a lot of the time. This hotel was a bit off the beaten track for us and the surrounding area appears a little run down, but there is some renovation going on. There were no shops, bars etc in the vicinity (that we could find) so self catering would be difficult. You would have to rely on a delivery service for goods. The hotel has no restaurant, but the bar does do snacks. We had a burger and a Caesar salad which was lovely but the chips advertised were crisps. The bar area and pool was pleasant and the staff lovely. There is a covered walkway to the hotel with cobbles, difficult to drag your case over, but some cab drivers took you into the hotel entrance via a side alley!! We wouldn't stay there again, just because of the location and mobility issues.
