Residencial a Ilha

Stayed in the junior suite together with a colleague for a conference, for 4 nights. Lovely hotel at about 100 meters from the marina and beach. It's a shared bedroom, but the room was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. Ours even had a fridge and hairdryer. Wifi was very reliable. Wooden shutters keep out the light at night and the airco easily deals with the heat. A healthy breakfast was provided daily and the staff do a superb job. A special thank you to the housekeeper for keeping our cluttered room so tidy and to the reception for making sure we could still eat breakfast before heading off to the airport!

We stayed one night here and for the price it was not bad. It's a pretty basic place. Our room was quite small and dated, but the A/C worked well and it had everything we needed. The location in the center of town can't be beat.

Spent 2 nights here, one of which was during the beginning of the June festival. The hotel has a great location, 1 minute walks from the harbor. My room had a single bed and was nice and clean. Breakfast didn't have a lot of stuff (cereals, juice, bread, ham and cheese) but I was even surprised there was even a breakfast included. The staff at the reception is nice and allowed me to keep my bags there after check out and even called me a taxi to the airport afterwards. There is no elevator so you will have to carry yoir suitcases upstairs. Rooms are mostly quiet (depending on the neighbor) but walls are a bit thin. During the festival nights even the inside of the hotel gets crazy noisy.
