With a great location on a wide avenue, just over 5 minutes walk from the marina of Ponta Delgada (attention that the way back is always rising...), it provides a blurred view of the city, to the mountains and to the sea. The lounge is large, on the long, with various leisure areas, decorated with extensive artificial vegetation (which could even be considered an affront to the lush vegetation of this Green Island!?...), with the entire glass facade, exalting the view and natural light, and the staff welcomes us with sympathy that we feel genuine. The rooms are spacious, as are the bathrooms (which allow an attractive indirect light), and the beds are comfortable, with the now widespread “lens” being dwarf, which, as a rule, results in extreme heat irradiation, which ultimately disturbs sleep. The spa pool serves indoor and outdoor (covered in cold weather) and provides a pleasant experience to the ordinary guest. Breakfast service meets purpose, with a variety of sweets and salts, hot and cold. Highlight the Azorean-produced cheeses, the omelets made on time, with various ingredients to choose, for bread and croissants, for the “healthy alternatives” (understand cereals, cakes and homemade biscuits, with little sugar and fat). Already in the fruit, the pineapple could well be from the Azores, undoubtedly much more tasty than the imported, available at the buffet. The restaurant serves at the table, at dinner, with a different menu every night. There is also a wine bar, which cookes pizzas daily in a wooden oven, which can be consumed as a snack, entry or main dish. Hotel frequented by numerous groups of tourists, also welcomes well families, nevertheless being quiet. Pleasant overall experience and very valid option for a few days of getaway, as was the case.
