Monte Da Corte Ligeira

We were very disappointed in our stay at Monte da Corte Ligeira. In fact, we left a day early. The bathroom was really unpleasant with rust everywhere and taps that dripped continuously. There was no maid service, which may be the case in this type of accommodation (I don't know). However, it would have been useful to know and should be put on the website. The area adjacent to the pool was full of dog excrement. We actually saw the dog using the area to defecate. This caused a very bad smell and many many flies in the pool area. It appeared nobody cleaned up after the dog. The wifi did not work and when some other guests asked Nadia about it she said she had no idea and wasn't technical. There was no-one else to ask. When we did need to speak to Nadia on another occasion we went to find her but found our way stopped by the same large dog, which barked continuously at us. We felt very intimidated and could not get to speak to her. We felt the charge of 90 euros a night, given the standard of accommodation, and the problems with it, was unacceptable. For example, the Hotel Museu in Mertola was charging the same price, including breakfast, and daily maid service, but the standard in accommodation and service generally was far, far superior to Monte da Corte Ligeira.
