Sao Domingos

A quite and relaxing hotel would highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing break! I cycled down from Evora in May, the hotel is in a small village and located near a large lake with lots of water sports. Receptionists very friendly and professional, and not only showed me to my room, but explained the rich history of the hotel / Manor House and the guests over the years. Pool area is large and the gardens are well kept. Has a pool table, small bar (I had a pint of super bock) and has a small tv for football or sports. The stand out for me was the staff though, all very attentive, friendly and very welcoming. Room large, doors to an outside area and I really liked the bar of soap! 10/10

At the hotel reception they inform you that the bar closes at midnight with no service restrictions. During our stay we went to the bar to have a toast and were informed that they did not serve it during dinner, contrary to what was said at reception. We had to come and have dinner outside the hotel because it's not even worth talking about the quality of the hotel's buffet (4 stars)

Great Hotel with friendly staff Jake the chef , Andre the waiter and Alex at reception all very helpful Food was great Full of history, easy free parking full facilities , Staff very helpful and knowledgable about the history of the hotel
