Vitoria Hotel

I recently stayed at this property and was incredibly disappointed by the lack of basic upkeep and the complete absence of customer service. The gym is poorly maintained and feels neglected. The exercise bike has a broken power connection held together by tape and the elliptical machine has loose power cables trailing unsafely across the floor. To make workouts even more uncomfortable, the air conditioning in the gym was completely dysfunctional. The structural issues extend to the outdoor relaxation areas. The patio tables feature completely broken, separating legs and the rollers or wheels on the outdoor fixtures are warped and broken alongside weathered & broken umbrellas. Finding any assistance or service during the stay was nearly impossible. The bar area was entirely unstaffed; a bell was left on the counter to call for service, but no staff ever arrived to serve. For a hotel that should offer a seamless experience, the combination of broken facilities and absent service made this a highly frustrating and disappointing stay. I would not recommend this place until management addresses these clear maintenance and staffing issues.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel and loved it! The rooms are very comfortable, with a small fridge, safe, coffee maker, bathrobes, and slippers. Super comfortable bed. Spacious and pleasant shower. Breakfast with a variety of choices, and everything is very good. Friendly staff. Very beautiful decor. Stunning rooftop pool. The only downside was the pool bar, where we waited 40 minutes for our drink! When we wanted to cancel the order, we were told it was ready! Free parking in front of the hotel. 20-25 minutes walk from the historic city center. Highly recommended without hesitation!

A lovely, clean hotel with free parking. Not far from the main town on foot. We were there for a birthday weekend, perfect service from the reception desk and the bar and restaurant staff, a special shout out to Beatriz, who is just simply brilliant. All staff, were professional and friendly. Room was as expected, clean and comfortable. The restaurant on the ground floor was the only one open when we stayed, the food and wine for lunch was spectacular. Swimming, is nice area and the sauna that can be booked for an hour just for you, is the perfect end of the afternoon after a visit into town. Would definitely stay here if in Evora again.
