We returned to this wonderful hotel after 10 years from the first time! The experience could not have been better! The hotel is wonderful, very welcoming, super clean and very comfortable! It's impossible not to feel at home! Due to the reason for our visit, even with a voucher, they updated the room and even offered us an amazing baby to help celebrate our wedding anniversary (champagne and an amazing brownie). All thanks to the incredible sympathy and delicacy of receptionist Hernander. Big companies are only big because of the people who work in them! The Caniçada Pestana does not disappoint! Thank you for everything!

Space with a stunning view. Of the staff we highlighted as friendly an older gentleman and a young woman. Another younger, during dinner clearly showed preference for foreigners. We found this young employee strange, asking during dinner to the people who were at the tables next to us "if they were like us and ignored us," we do not need attention, but this reveals a lack of professionalism.

Beautiful location, extremely good staff very knowledgeable and friendly, room very good exeptionally comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast good, fixed rate evening meal menu not so good there are not many options if you are staying several nights. Menu only gets changed twice a year! Bar snack options also limited. More vegetarian/pescatarian options would be nice. Special mentions go to Manuel Barros - who was extremly helpful, gave us lots of local knowledge information and places to visit. Mariana in the restaurant will go far in her career an extremely pleasant young lady very helpful. Ana Marie Veiga on reception also a very pleasant lady and extremely helpful. Very enjoyable 5 days.
