TRYP COLINA DO CASTELO

Excellent experience, which surpassed the exceptional ones. Amazing view, with personalized care. Outdoor space with swimming pool and garden very nice and well cared for, as well as the interior space (relaxing, modern and cared for environment). I already knew the hotel, but it underwent significant improvements.

Hotel room had a balcony facing the telco tower. Room space was tight. Everything in the room functioned well. Too busy around the buffet at dinner time so we ordered off the menu. Buffet breakfast was also crowded. Food was OK Easy on site car parking.

Based on the description I saw of the hotel, I was expecting something almost as basic as a Motel 6. Was that a wrong expectation! This is a beautiful hotel high up on a hill with a great view of the surrounding countryside. The room was spacious and clean and a good breakfast was offered. The staff was quite helpful. Definitely a 5 star experience.
