No global did not meet expectations. Restaurant with little selection and what we ate did not have the quality that is advertised.

A very pleasant experience at the Hotel da Lousã! ✨ I want to highlight, right away, the friendliness, availability, and professionalism of the entire team, always attentive and ready to help, which makes the stay even more special. A very special thank you to Cândida and Marlene, Spa technicians, for the excellent work, the care, and the dedicated way they provided us with moments of true relaxation. They are, without a doubt, an added value for the hotel. 💆‍♀️✨ Another detail I loved was the possibility of spreading out a towel on the lawn and quietly enjoying the garden, in a much calmer environment and away from the screaming and excitement of the children by the pool. For those looking to rest and simply switch off, it's a real privilege! 🌿☀️ A very beautiful hotel, a fantastic team and small details that make all the difference. Without a doubt, an experience to repeat! ❤️

They are pet friendly, that makes having breakfast or lunch with a dog next to you whimpering dignified. Also in the garden area where you sunbathe, I found some feces (neither the dog nor the hotel staff is to blame), but I don't pay for a boutique hotel for this. They don't have enough lounge chairs for the guests, you have to fight for the 10 that are there, if you don't get a lounge chair, you have to go to the garden, and be careful not to step on any canine gift, besides the fact that the couple with the dog can always show up and sit next to you. The restaurant menu is surreal, they have a croquette dish where only one croquette comes (6€) and it's like that with everything, except the pizzas (which are three: chestnut with honey, cheese and cherry tomato, and the other one, I don't even remember, but it's very strange). It is excessively expensive for the product they provide. Breakfast is the best part, except for the coffee, which is quite bad machine coffee, but the abundance of the buffet makes it worth it. The staff goes out of their way, very friendly and very attentive. But the hotel is very poorly organized, a bit neglected on the outside (a coat of paint and some cracks would cover things up in the pool area). Nothing to object to regarding the rooms, except that there is a noise from the air conditioning, which even if you turn it off keeps running and you hear it all night (you can sleep, but you notice the machinery when it has time...). Anyway, I knew this hotel 15 years ago when its renovation was newer, but it's like it has aged poorly. The area is very beautiful, but it has very little tourist offering (three. Places to eat without taking the car, but they get filled up by the hotel guests), This hotel should offer a greater and more varied culinary selection, so you don't have to leave it to go have something decent for dinner. The pool drinks, beer, water, and sodas are fine, but the mixed drinks are excessively expensive for what they provide. I think they can fix everything that is wrong, it's just a matter of wanting to do it. I hope they last many more years, and that in another 10 years I can go without stepping on, or having to dodge, pets.
