Pousada De Vila Vicosa

A very quirky pousada, hardly any two rooms are the same. Located in a quiet square next to the Ducal Palace and close to the main town square with nice places to eat. We had one evening meal here which was ok and the daily breakfast was also fine. Rooms were clean with nice balconies, the suites (I didn't have one!) were very spacious but had no balcony so I was happy with the room I was allocated. All in all a nice place to stay for a few days.

We held a family event and loved the space and all the accompaniment of the team from the first meeting until the day of the event. Excellent food and organization.

Good location, very central, with free parking, which is an advantage. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but they already show some wear and need renovation. The guesthouse, in general, needs restoration and modernization works, both in the rooms and in the common areas. The pool is also in need of maintenance. Breakfast is acceptable, but only medium, without much variety or differentiating elements. It was a reasonable stay, but the space has the potential to offer a much better experience after a proper renovation and maintenance intervention.
