Algarve Gardens

In September 2010 I visited these apartments with my wife for the first time, to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. Whilst there I wrote my 11th Children;s book in its entirity. The location of this resort had all the peace and tranquillity to allow me to be inspired. The book was published in November 2010 when i returned home. My wife and I have always wanted to return to this resort. In 2017 I became both a Dramatist and Song Writer, all based upon the stories I had written since 1999. Trying to do all this on a normal day-to-day basis, started to become difficult, so, there was only one place in my mind to go back to, in order to achieve this dream. We booked to go back this year and once there, everything fell into place, I wrote the final seven songs for my Children's Drama. Everything about the charisma of this Falesia Resort makes both of us feel calm and content. So, if you have something to write or create it may also work for you. You will never know unless you go.

We stayed in a studio flat of the Algarve Gardens. While the furniture was not brand new, we had all the necessary for our stay. The kitchen could do with some more equipment, but for the price we paid we really could not complain. We had also access to all the hotel amenities, such as loungers, swimming pools (inside and outside), jacuzzi and sauna. The studio was cleaned spotless every day and the staff was very nice. We had direct access to the beach and the entire area is just stunning! We are very happy with our stay and recommend this place.

We had booked studio months before we arrived to portugal, but when we finally get there everything has been taken, so we recived Villa in the price of the studio. That was great news and we are very appriciated. Unfortunatelly this hotel has been refubnished ages ago. Beds, floor, sofas and kitchen are very old,scraped and dystroyed by time. Microvawe was not working, kitchen full of ants soo you definitelly need to keep your food in fridge. Only 2 small glasses and 2 cups are doesnt help to prepare food. Beds in bedroom also very old and poor quality - you can feel all springs. Cleaning staff spray the rooms with bugs killers soo I has been sick on the first day, and we was not able to sleep there. Smell of bug killers and stench of old furniture is horrible.To be fair is Not very romantic and nice place to stay. I think hotel need to invest some money and buy new staff. However staff is very nice and helpfull. Beach around hotel is gorgeous and very clean. Also price wchih we paid was small soo I undertand that can't be a palace. Anyway for me is not even 1 star hotel at this moment.
