Aqua Ria Boutique Hotel

Had lunch at the rooftop restaurant and ordered the burger. The diarrhea was prompt, powerful, and unforgettable. Hands down, this is the best weight-loss burger ever! If you enjoy really bad food followed by rapid weight loss via explosive diarrhea, this is the place for you.

Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Good bathroom. Lovely little balcony with view of stork family on the opposite roof. Helpful reception staff. Useful transfer from airport included. All enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

I left this hotel after spending 3 nights with mixed feelings , it has to be said the hotel is located right by the harbour and near the shops and all what faro has to offer , the enterance is down a side street and the hotel is found buy a single door with a sign above it , there is a reception desk in front where you check in, the hotel is a combination of a restaurant and hotel and it feels like the hotel has been added on , the staff are a mostly friendly the grey haired gentleman and the lady with highlights in her hair were very good however some of the other staff when entering the hotel made you feel like you were robbing the place coming up to you and almost challenging you what you are doing in the hotel , there are downstairs toilets near reception and you can get a drink after the restaurant has shut for outside guests , trouble is the bar was in darkness come 9.30pm at night and felt awkward when buying a drinki and sitting in a darkened area , on occasions we found the reception staff to be missing at times and at on the last night a gentleman was sat in the lobby entrance on his phone throwing evils that I had come in and I had to state I was staying here to use the toilet It definitely feels like the restaurant takes priority and the hotel is an add on when staying here , it’s also worth noting there is no luggage room . I asked a member of staff and she said one you check out that’s it so if you had a later flight you would have to cart you baggage around all day The room was very clean ands made everyday with clean towels , there is a fridge , air conditioner and also a fee safe with toiletries in the bathroom the bed was go fat however thee under sheet was loose and at night you ended up pulling it off and it ment you were sleeping on the mattress exposed a mattress encasement would be much better if using these sheets on a bed , hot water was good and the shower was powerfull , the room itself was very good however aas being advertised as boutique I’m not so sure , the breakfast can be paid on a daily basis as it costs 10 euros per person It didn’t really feel like a hotel with not much to offer than a room perhaps I’m being abit picky but to be honest if you were staying for a couple of days it’s ideal and in a great location Would I stay here again only if it was a short break and not really as a family for a long period of time I just felt it lacked in providing for the guests outside of the room even a vending machine would help rather than making it feel a hindered to ask for anything after the restaurant shuts Please don’t take this as a negative a few more improvements would be of great benefit and improve people’s stay we did see one other couple upset they could not leave there large case anywhere and they had to sit there with it for a few hours till the taxi come , thankyou for the stay though it was pleasant
