Atlantida Apartments

Don't come here! It's not a hotel, there's no reception. The condition of the apartment is dilapidated. Mold in the bathroom, sockets hang loose and there are lots of ants, at 4 high note. The 'Reception' is 2 km walk away, which is mainly a real estate office. Once there, there is still a €330,- deposit to be paid to the €20,- cash. We booked this trip through D-Reizen. Here I have indicated and demonstrated that the advertisement to this 'Hotel' is misleading. On the D-Reizen site there are Reviews that you cannot click on. Photos do not correspond to reality. After submitting my complaint, I received a response that it is a cheap Hotel and that D-Reizen only acts as an intermediary. Again, DO NOT go here.

Location was good. But the room we were allocated did not reflect the photos used on website. The property had loose electrical sockets and lights. Some of the windows would not lock. The kitchen and bathroom were very poor and needed updating.

We’d had a bit of contact with Garveteur before we arrived and have to say they are very helpful. We stayed in vilamoura last year in a Garveteur property which we thoroughly enjoyed. We arrived late and were asked to go to Garveteur office which was a little inconvenient with luggage however it’s only a few minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment was on the top floor with fantastic views. It was a 2 bedroom apartment with very well equipped kitchen. It was very clean and although dated furniture was much better than we expected. The location is superb. Literally on the beach with many bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Don’t have anything negative to say and would definitely return without hesitation during the competitively priced periods. The apartment was very quiet and clean. The bedrooms has shutters ensuring a good nights sleep.
