old building , particular smell of food old.. since get in :inside lift corridors and the apartmnet, never seen any action even to disinfect to reduce , the position is close to beach in good location in tres castelos,the apartment is spacious

I would have given more stars if everything had been operating and updated. Having said that, the apartment was clean and had a great balcony! Room was spacious 1 bdrm on the north side, so views were pretty much of 5 min walk from the beach, and about 10 from food and shopping on the boardwalk. A couple of odd things about the room- No bowls? (We learned this is the norm in Portugal) Not sure how they eat cereal? 3 dining chairs and patio chairs for a 4 person apt? Beds were comfy, clean. The pool was lovely, clean and just the right temp to cool off but not too cool. Snack bar is permanently closed I think.

Great apartment. Spotless with good facilities. Not far from beach and restaraunts. Mini market nearby. A big thank you to the very helpful male staff member on reception who went out of his way to help us this morning.
