Colina dos Mouros

Absolutely loved our stay here! Rooms are dated but there is a charm to it that can’t be beat. The location wasn’t great with a short walk to local restaurants. And who doesn’t want to stay they stayed in a castle! The views from our room were spectacular. A short distance away is the train station which allowed us to easily go visit other areas as well. The pool was great for a little relax time after lots of walking around. A continental breakfast was included and hit the spot before a big day exploring. There did seem to be a sports team staying there at the same time as us but the hallways were always really quiet which was great for sleeping. We were served with a smile by some friendly staff and the cleaning team were lively as well. I would absolutely stay here again!

Just back from a week long stay at this little gem if a hotel. Saw some negative reviews before we went and honestly how anyone could complain is beyond me. Firstly great value Breakfast absolutely plentiful and great variety of fruit, yogurts, cereals, eggs fried, scrambled and boiled. Cheese, meats, and an assortment of bread, roll, croissants and cake. 2 coffee machines to suit all. Pool area really relaxing . Hotel is kept spotless and staff friendly. Will definitely be back Our view of the castle was the icing on the cake.

Just back from the most amazing stay. Location is stunning & views of the castle exceptional. The staff were friendly & accommodating. Very clean & great breakfast. Silves is stunning & in an ideal place to explore other areas of the Algarve such as Lagos & Portimao. I will most definitely be back x
