Hotel Alnacir

Stayed here in April for a short break with the wife. Great little hotel, very clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. A short walk to all the bars and restaurants in the old town of Faro. Room was nice and quiet and the beds were soooo comfortable, slept well every night.

Located in a quiet street just north of the old centre of Faro. 10 minute walk to train station or town centre. Close to Faro airport (I actually walked from the airport: 4 km). Room was clean and compact with mini fridge. Staff kindly lent me a kettle. Bathroom included a bath/shower and bidet. I don't think any rooms have balconies but there is a small terrace on the top floor - great for getting some peace, watching the sun go down or the planes taking off from Faro. Breakfast buffet offered a very good choice including fruit / fruit salad, choice of cereals, pastries, bread, cold meats and hot food (eggs, little sausages and beans). There is also a small bar by reception. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This is not a large or luxury hotel but good value. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall very good. Clean. Tidy. Staff pleasant. Close to everything. Room outdated could do with better tv as signal was bad and no English speaking channels. But no problem as wasn’t in the room for long only to sleep . Cleaned daily bed made and new towels.
