The hotel has a great location and the view from the room is beautiful.
Breakfast is varied and the staff are friendly.
Cleaning is good.
On the other hand, the reception staff are unfriendly and not at all helpful.
The hotel's facilities seem to have stopped in time: outdated and, worse than that, completely dilapidated. In the room, the mattresses, which were said to have been recently remodeled, were crooked, almost causing us to fall if we moved too far to the side. The mattress bases were old and dilapidated. When we questioned the agency to find out if there were better rooms, we were told that we were in one of the best. I don't even want to think what the rest would be like...
The sun loungers at the pool were completely old, the beams felt against their backs, so I usually lay down on the grass.
It is regrettable that a hotel with such a good location is in this state. It could be one of the best in the Algarve, but it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in this region. Never coming back!
