Marina Clube I

We booked one of the independent Airbnb apartments which gives access to the main hotel. The apartment was clean and well equipped... three parasols there as well as two airers for drying out swimwear! A roomy balcony area with sun loungers and table and chairs. Space to sit inside and a comfy bed. The location is perfect if you want to be based in Lagos but also have a car and want to explore surrounding places. We had stayed nearby before so knew this was what we wanted. There are several eateries within a 5-10 minute walk and the old town is probably about a 20-25 minute walk. Also only about 10 minutes walk to the train station. We had no problem parking on the road each day and didn't need to use the garage even though we had access to it if we wanted it. The pool is about a 5 minute walk along the marina and is accessed alongside the sushi restaurant. The nearest (really good) supermarket is right behind the apartments and has everything you could want!

The staff at reception are excellent & very accommodating, they go over & beyond for all their guests! From recommendations to booking your taxi if required. Especially the nice Lady " Odete ". Apartments very clean & spacious, pools fabulous 👌 Second time here & already looking to come back before Sept! My five year old loves baby pool & its very safe! You can sit and watch the kids on the lovely loungers. Pools cleaned every morning. Pool bar staff really nice and friendly! Serves all drinks, smoothies, ice pops & hot snacks! Good location with top class restaurants all around. Glass wine on Marina most places 2.50e/3.00e! If here, book the tuk tuk, 1.5 hr....brings you around and explains the various architecture, (old town, new town, beach)fits up to 6 people. Collects you at hotel door! My 5yr old loved it. Even stopped for ice pops. Recommend apts, 1, 2 and 3 bed 4 star! Ask for pool view, also they are massive! Studios are small. Suit a couple only. There are no dishwashers so don't bring washing tablets like what I did first time🤣! Might be in the 3 bed, but ask this when booking. You won't be disappointed! P.s. good to use cash instead Card and to have extra cash for tips, they rely on the tourism. Brought my card but used cash mostly. Ruth Corrigan

Spent five nights there last week, only wish we could have stayed longer. Great place, lovely spacious room, cleaned daily by a great housekeeping team. Staff at reception and bar all welcoming and friendly. Fifteen minutes to the old town and if you want a change from the pool there are beaches in walking distance. Looking forward to returning.
