We have just stayed for a long weekend, and for us it was perfect. Location….in a quiet, mainly residential area, we had our car so getting around was no issue. Plenty of free parking at hotel car park. It’s an easy walk to the beach, which had a restaurant there. Atmosphere……staff were lovely. There was an issue with our booking, we had to provide our booking confirmation to prove we had booked half board. Rooms…. They were average size, and very clean and in good order. Fridge, TV and air conditioning worked well. Pool area was beautiful, with plenty enough sun loungers with cushions available. Food…..breakfast buffet was fantastic, just watch the local seagulls! Dinner was also buffet with a small but nice Portuguese selection and a vegetarian pasta each evening. For half board , drinks are payable extra. There is a deposit for pool towels and room safe, but we didn’t use them. I loved it and I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

We were not informed of the Renovation of this Hotel? Work was been carried out from 7am until Evening every day, drilling, putting a new sign up on the front of the building -right in front of our Bedroom, furniture being removed - the Dining Room was moved downstairs - although not sure why they bothered as the food was COLD in the morning - no notice to say what was in the containers until you lifted the lid, COLD PLATES- the bacon was like leather - and the evening meal was changed to a Menu - and if you like Octupus Soup -enjoy - although there was only 6 people in the Dining Room - the staff of about 10 people run ragged - the Bar closed before 11pm - we did find a nice Bar down the road called the CITY -sports Bar - but very quiet -had a restaurant upstairs and a small Supermarket at the side - good job really as there was nothing else there - a Taxi Ride in to the Old Tow. This Hotel was being taken over by Pierre Vacnces -and should have been CLOSED - because of the noise - very Residential around there - Beach was down a very steep Hill - Dont bother going

We arrived late on the Saturday night, so missed any chance of food and nothing was offered. We were half board and had a room just above the reception door facing the car park. Room was decent size, 2 single beds (not the most comfortable), coffee machine with 2 complementary pods and a note on where to purchase more. We had a balcony, bath/shower, fridge and safe. Tv was decent size but nothing suitable to watch except bbc news. Breakfast was the same every day, buffet, meats and cheeses, pastries and a cooked section but bacon and sausages weren’t the best. Evening meal was good, smallish portions with no extras (veg, chips etc) selection was limited, soup or salad and then fish, meat or vegetarian but were all tasty. We were half board so had to purchase drinks every night, 2 coke zeros at 6 euros.
The out door pool was not heated but was fine to cool down after a day in the sun. The indoor pool was heated and all were nice and clean.
Hotel was located close to a very nice beach, rafael and tommys grocery shop. It took us 20-30 minutes to walk down to the marina and the old town. Ubers were very easy and quick, 3rutos from old town back to hotel, 40euros to the faro airport, 18 euros out to Benagil cave. The hill back to the hotel was quite steep.
The hotel was very quiet, no entertainment at night and not much atmosphere but it was very relaxing and peaceful. All very clean and rooms cleaned daily.
