We chose to stay here due to its location being close to the routes of the Volta ao Algarve cycle race. We stayed here for 8 days and the quiet location, comfortable accommodation and facilities all proved perfect for our needs. the owners Andreia and Alberto also deserve special praise for the concern and kindness they showed when my wife required urgent hospital treatment during our stay - nothing was too much for them. Some may feel that the location is too far from the beaches and Albufeira itself, though renting a car would resolve that problem, plus the peacefulness of the location probably more than compensates for that.
