Monte Rei Golf & Country Club

For my husband’s birthday, I booked 6 days in this hotel in February 2026. I knew the golf course was not passable due to work. I had questioned to make sure that this work would not disturb our stay apart from access to the golf course. The day of departure on April 17, 2026, I was informed that the 2 pools were impassable!! We were on our way to the airport...we were in a ghost hotel...without guests, without all the services promised when booking. The quality of the accommodation was tarnished by the noisy work under our windows... As a consolation we were offered a dinner excluding drinks... The quality of the breakfast is poor , the decor of the hotel is outdated... Lamentable, not respectful of customers, to absolutely flee. The rooms are always open for booking... it is a shame.

Very nice apartment, large, elegant, modern. It's really everything you need. Also very spacious balcony, also nicely furnished. Dreamlike sunrises. The golf course is as beautiful as it is advertised everywhere. Best Service on a golf course I have ever experienced. Lush breakfast, but that could use a little more variation. We spent nine very nice days there.

Terrible experience. 2 out of 3 restaurants were closed, dry golfcourse, nice staff though at the golf course. We booked a villa and left after 3 nights, as my wife had been bitten over 10 times by bedbugs. Hotel staff offered no alternative, so we left. Refund was promised, however at a later stage our complaint was denied and refund offer withdrawn.
