Evaluation:
We chose the Navegadores Hotel to celebrate our honeymoon, a unique moment for which we have worked and planned for years. What we found was a level of disorganization, lack of hygiene and disrespect for the customer simply unacceptable.
Right upon arrival, the room did not have the bed linen changed — something basic in any hotel unit. After we were moved, when we returned at night we were faced with an even worse situation: an infestation of ants throughout the room, including inside our clothes and personal belongings.
From then on, the experience entered a surreal level. The response from the hotel was non-existent. No immediate solution, no empathy, no responsibility. They didn’t even have the decency to offer cleaning off contaminated clothes—only by payment.
At 2 o'clock in the morning we were again moved to another room, where the shower didn't work. The result: we spent the whole night unable to take a bath, with the body full of sand and without usable clothing due to the previous infestation.
The next day, the posture remained: “We can’t do anything.” This lack of action led to an extreme emotional situation, culminating in an anxiety crisis from my wife, forcing us to resort to a private health center.
The so-called “solution” presented was a family room with four beds, sold as a “suite”. I have worked in hospitality for more than 20 years and I can say with absolute certainty: this is not a suite, it is an attempt to mask a serious problem with an improvised solution.
The restaurant follows the same pattern: repetitive food, poor quality, poor cooking (including poorly cooked chicken), lack of variety and, worse yet, obvious hygiene flaws. The presence of ants in the buffet, food handling without basic care and a general environment that raises serious doubts about compliance with sanitary standards.
The remaining installations reflect abandonment: jacuzzis with mud, visible dirt and lack of widespread maintenance.
We tried several times to talk to the management — always refused. We contacted eDreams, who chose to ignore the gravity of the situation, considering it resolved with a simple room change.
It is important to be clear: this whole experience is documented with photographs and videos.
Conclusion:
This is not a 4-star service — it is well below the acceptable minimum. It was a humiliating, frustrating and deeply unfair experience that destroyed one of the most important moments of our lives.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid it, especially if you are looking for a place for something special.
