Parque Das Amendoeiras

We were really pleased with this apartment, location and local amenities all contained in the one area. The apartment is really spacious and clean, also the landlady Sandra was there for us at anytime and was extremely helpful and nothing was a bother. The restaurants and cafes were decent and reasonably priced with a local spar shop on the doorstep. The pool area was clean and tiday but i must warn you it’s deep so be careful, and there is a kiddies pool at the side. My overall rating is 5 and would strongly recommend to anyone to consider this complex.

Beds broken, Lift broken, Electricity unreliable. Noisy parrot, Pool area dreadful. Guests are mostly drunk morn 'til night. Then the noise becomes intolerable. Avoid at all cost Pay more and you will bless me.

This did exactly what it said on the tin. It's not a palace, but the staff are friendly and kind, the booze is cheap, and the food in both restaurants is great. If you have high standards/you're honeymooning, it's a bit rough and ready, but if you want to relax, drink gin and chat with lovely people, you'll enjoy this. It was quiet at night and my one fault with it is it was a bit of a trek from the beach and marina. Apart from that - great!
