We had booked a superior 1 bedroom apartment with terrace. Expectations were high especially because of the beautiful photos and the score of no less than 8.9 on Booking.com. We were disappointed. The apartment belongs to an apartment hotel, with several apartments, quite large. It has on the ground floor a very small living room with a terrace where no sun came. A very dated kitchenette with two old hobs, rust on the fridge and mould in the seams. It's noisy, you can literally hear the neighbors talking. On the first floor a large bedroom and bathroom. The roof terrace on the second floor consists of two small terraces, connected to each other. The whole thing is very dated and there is overdue maintenance, leaking taps, broken door frames, rust on bathroom lights, yellow toilet seat, dirty toilet brush. It looked nice on the pictures but they turned out to be misleading. Too bad all because the location is good and parking nearby is possible. 141,- per night we certainly did not think it was worth it! We're not coming back. We reported it to the reception, showed pictures, and also that we wanted to indicate it in a review on Booking. The lady at the reception responded that it was the first time she heard it. That she would tell the manager and we would hear about it. We didn't hear anything. Instead, to our surprise, we saw that our booking was cancelled by Baluarte apartments. Because we can't write a review? That's not how you treat your customers.

Excellent in everything Location perfect 5 minutes from old town a bit of climb to it but very manageable beautiful beach not far from apartment with fab board walk Very clean and very helpful staff with great recommendations for restaurants Definitely will stay there again
