Praia Do Forte Sao Joao

Group of friends tried out this restaurant. My advice stay away. Restaurant ripped us off. They charged €22.50 for sliced bread in a basket. It was even more expensive than the STEAK. Save your money go somewhere else.

Stayed at the Apartments for a week with a friend. The apartments was off a long drive which was in a secluded area which was ideal for us. The apartment was two mins walk from local restaurants and shops and quiet bars. The beach was 5 mins from apartment. The apartment was lovely with everything you needed for a self catering stay, the apartment looked out onto the pool area which was very quiet and ideal sun trap with out being over looked from other hotels etc. Ideal location for families and couples 10mins walk to the old town and 10 mins from the lively strip. Had a lovely time here and looking to book again.

View from apartments beautiful spoiled by 3-4 feet wall Also gate to beach continually locked. Security? Very good service, cleanliness. Supermarket? A disaster! Would not be encouraged to spend any money in this complex.
