Sunset Village

Our stay here was marred by the fact we were greeted by builders repairing the pool decking. We weren't given any warning to this work and the only reference to it in an envelope on arrival was to wear footwear round the pool. The work lasted for 6 of our 8 days and was only paused on Sunday and by running out of supplies. The work started around 9 and finished in the evenings, including hammering and electric saws. Although I understand there may sometimes need to be emergency maintenance at a property, the fact that no one in management contacted us, offered us an apology or compensation and has failed to return our messages would warn me off using either this property, or any other that is owned. I believe Vila Vita recently purchased the property who own a larger complex near by. If they didn't care about our stay here, it's possible the same treatment could be given to residents of this complex.

We stayed at Sunset village for a week in may, and the place was lovely. Clean and quiet. Great apartment, with erything you need. A very good shop is 5 mins away by car. Our small kids 1 and 3 years old loved the pool which fits all ages. As many says, the place is approx 10 mins away from beach and town, but that didnt matter at all for us. A short walk down the road to the beach, easy with strollers.

Apartment looks okay at first side. Check in very efficient. Our room with connecting bathroom very very bad smell of sewer👹 Shower very poor. Don't like two separate beds in the rooms. Swimming pools needs some refurbishment. Wifi works more than fine. Apartment just on 10 minutes walking distance beach and village
